Holiday Manor Co-Op, Inc. has a very active Social Club that helps to organize a wide variety of activities for our residents and guests.  Each activity or event is chaired and run by volunteers in the Park.  During the busy winter season the Social Club publishes a weekly newsletter called the Holiday  Happenings that is delivered to all occupied sites.  The following is a listing of activities and events that are available for interested residents and guests to participate in...

Art Class, Billiards, Bingo, Bowling, Cards (Bridge, Euchre, Pinochle, or Poker), Choir, Cookouts, Craft Class, Electric Slide Dance, Golf Leagues for both Men and Women, Horseshoes, Pancake Breakfast, Potluck Dinners, Shuffleboard for both Men and Women which now includes two teams - the White Team and the Green Team, Swimming Pool and Hot Tub, Yoga Class and a Co-Ed Exercise Class.  Special Events include Dances, Non-Denominational Church Service, Thanksgiving Day Dinner, Christmas Day Dinner, New Year's Eve Party, Valentine's Day Breakfast, Yearly Flea Market and a Yearly Festival.  We also have free monthly Blood Pressure checks, a one day scheduled Flu and/or Pneumonia Shot Clinic, and have a Neighborhood Watch program staffed with volunteers.  Although we have very limited storage facilities, there is a boat ramp available with access to the Gulf of Mexico via Henderson Creek for fishing and/or sight seeing.

Other features available at extra costs include telephone, computer modem and cable television (via Comcast) hookups along with propane gas.  An on site dump station is also available.  Our Recreation Hall is equipped with handicapped facilities and includes modern showers and restrooms and a laundry facility with both washers and dryers.  We can accommodate up to a maximum RV length of 40 feet and have 30 Amp and 50 Amp hookups.

Some other non-Park activities that are near-by include an outlet mall (within 1/2 mile), grocery shopping (Publix within 1/2 mile and Super Wal-Mart right next door), driving range, Swamp Buggy Races, sunbathing at the beach or at our own swimming pool, shopping in downtown Naples, fishing or just relaxing in the wonderful winter weather of a sub-tropical environment.  Marco Island Beaches or Naples Beaches and Caribbean Gardens (The Naples Zoo) are each about 7 to 8 miles away.  The Everglades State Park, Swamp Buggy Tours and the Seminole Gulf Excursion Train are each between 20 and 25 miles away.
